The analysis is based on the translation of original Hebrew terms, showing that “dead” refers to corpses, not spiritual entities. The author highlights biblical examples of mediumship and prophecy, concluding that the biblical condemnation is directed at pagan practices, not at spiritual communication itself. The interpretation considers the historical and cultural context of the time in which the texts were written.
