Resumo: O texto analisa a fé raciocinada, contrastando a fé cega com aquela baseada na razão e no bom senso. Utilizando a passagem bíblica do Centurião e as ideias de Kardec, o autor argumenta que Jesus valorizava a fé raciocinada, exemplificada pela compreensão lógica do Centurião. A análise de Caibar Schutel sobre a humildade e a fé do Centurião reforça esse argumento. O artigo defende que a verdadeira fé integra razão e sentimento, resistindo ao progresso do conhecimento. Finalmente, o texto conclui que a fé raciocinada é a mais elevada forma de fé, aprovada por Jesus e pelos espíritos superiores.

Abstract: The text analyzes reasoned faith, contrasting blind faith with that based on reason and common sense. Using the biblical passage of the Centurion and Kardec’s ideas, the author argues that Jesus valued reasoned faith, exemplified by the Centurion’s logical understanding. Caibar Schutel’s analysis of the Centurion’s humility and faith reinforces this argument. The article argues that true faith integrates reason and feeling, resisting the progress of knowledge. Finally, the text concludes that reasoned faith is the highest form of faith, approved by Jesus and the superior spirits.
