Resumo: O texto investiga a autenticidade de um poema atribuído ao espírito de Herculano Pires, que afirma Chico Xavier ser a reencarnação de Allan Kardec. A análise compara esse poema com outras mensagens supostamente psicografadas por Herculano Pires, utilizando declarações de Chico Xavier e opiniões de especialistas para argumentar que o poema é uma falsificação. A conclusão se baseia em contradições entre as mensagens e no testemunho da filha de Herculano Pires, que valida apenas algumas das comunicações espirituais. O artigo apresenta evidências para sustentar a existência de um “Herculano Pires impostor”.

Abstract: This article investigates the authenticity of a poem attributed to the spirit of Herculano Pires, which claims that Chico Xavier is the reincarnation of Allan Kardec. The analysis compares this poem with other messages supposedly psychographed by Herculano Pires, using statements by Chico Xavier and opinions of experts to argue that the poem is a forgery. The conclusion is based on contradictions between the messages and on the testimony of Herculano Pires’ daughter, who validates only some of the spiritual communications. The article presents evidence to support the existence of an “imposter Herculano Pires”.
