Resumo: O artigo refuta a ideia de que Allan Kardec reencarnou como Platão, apresentando argumentos baseados nas obras de Kardec que demonstram sua inicial discordância com a doutrina da reencarnação, antes de sua aceitação. A análise inclui citações de obras espíritas, incluindo as de Chico Xavier, para comparar as visões de ambos os filósofos sobre a reencarnação e outras questões. O autor utiliza a inconsistência cronológica e a natureza das manifestações espíritas para fortalecer sua tese de que são figuras distintas. Finalmente, o texto conclui que a afirmação da reencarnação de Kardec como Platão carece de fundamento lógico e comprovação factual.

Abstract: The article refutes the idea that Allan Kardec was reincarnated as Plato, presenting arguments based on Kardec’s works that demonstrate his initial disagreement with the doctrine of reincarnation, before its acceptance. The analysis includes citations from Spiritist works, including those of Chico Xavier, to compare the views of both philosophers on reincarnation and other issues. The author uses the chronological inconsistency and the nature of Spiritist manifestations to strengthen his thesis that they are distinct figures. Finally, the text concludes that the claim that Kardec was reincarnated as Plato lacks logical foundation and factual proof.
