Resumo: O texto analisa relatos de materializações espirituais ocorridas em sessões mediúnicas com Chico Xavier em 1952 e 1953. Testemunhos descrevem a aparição de figuras, incluindo uma espanhola e um senador romano, e a intervenção do espírito de Emmanuel, que proibiu Xavier de continuar com a mediunidade de efeitos físicos. O documento investiga o mecanismo por trás dessas materializações, considerando a possibilidade de projeções ou atuação de espíritos representando personalidades passadas de Xavier e outros presentes. A pesquisa busca explicar como espíritos de vidas anteriores do médium e de outros participantes se materializaram simultaneamente, um evento considerado único. Abstract: The text analyzes reports of spiritual materializations that occurred in mediumistic sessions with Chico Xavier in 1952 and 1953. Testimonies describe the appearance of figures, including a Spanish woman and a Roman senator, and the intervention of the spirit of Emmanuel, who forbade Xavier from continuing with the mediumship of physical effects. The document investigates the mechanism behind these materializations, considering the possibility of projections or the action of spirits representing past personalities of Xavier and others present. The research seeks to explain how spirits from previous lives of the medium and other participants materialized simultaneously, an event considered unique. The text uses as sources several biographical works and reports on Chico Xavier’s mediumship.
