Resumo: O texto discute a problemática da origem e confiabilidade dos evangelhos, argumentando que sua transmissão ao longo dos séculos resultou em múltiplas cópias e interpretações, distantes dos eventos originais. O autor questiona a autoria e a fidedignidade histórica dos evangelhos canônicos, propondo a existência de uma fonte primária (“Q”), possivelmente perdida, contendo os ensinamentos originais de Jesus. Ele destaca a influência da cultura grega na redação dos evangelhos e alerta para o perigo de manipulação e interpretação tendenciosa dos textos, enfatizando a necessidade de crítica histórica e textual. Finalmente, o autor conclui que, apesar das incertezas, os evangelhos contêm valiosas máximas morais.

Abstract: The text discusses the problems of the origin and reliability of the gospels, arguing that their transmission over the centuries resulted in multiple copies and interpretations, far removed from the original events. The author questions the authorship and historical reliability of the canonical gospels, proposing the existence of a primary source (“Q”), possibly lost, containing the original teachings of Jesus. He highlights the influence of Greek culture in the writing of the gospels and warns of the danger of manipulation and biased interpretation of the texts, emphasizing the need for historical and textual criticism. Finally, the author concludes that, despite the uncertainties, the gospels contain valuable moral maxims.
