Resumo: O texto apresenta uma crítica contundente à interpretação evangélica da Bíblia, argumentando que muitas profecias bíblicas não se cumpriram ou foram contraditórias. A autora, ex-evangélica e espírita, questiona a inerrância bíblica, destacando as muitas alterações textuais sofridas pelos manuscritos do Novo Testamento ao longo dos séculos. Além disso, ela discute a inconsistência da doutrina da salvação pela fé em comparação com os ensinamentos de Jesus nos Evangelhos Sinóticos e a problemática teológica da predestinação. Finalmente, a autora contrapõe a visão espírita, focando no ensinamento moral de Jesus e rejeitando a literalidade bíblica.

Abstract: The text presents a strong critique of the evangelical interpretation of the Bible, arguing that many biblical prophecies were not fulfilled or were contradictory. The author, a former evangelical and spiritualist, questions biblical inerrancy, highlighting the many textual changes suffered by the New Testament manuscripts over the centuries. In addition, she discusses the inconsistency of the doctrine of salvation by faith in comparison with the teachings of Jesus in the Synoptic Gospels and the theological problems of predestination. Finally, the author opposes the spiritualist view, focusing on the moral teaching of Jesus and rejecting biblical literalness.
