Resumo: O texto analisa divergências entre a doutrina evangélica da salvação pela fé e interpretações dos Evangelhos Sinóticos e de outros textos bíblicos. Argumenta-se que a ênfase na salvação pela fé surgiu posteriormente, no Evangelho de João e nos escritos de Paulo, contrastando com a aparente ênfase em ações e boas obras nos Evangelhos mais antigos e na Epístola de Tiago. O autor questiona a coerência teológica de conceitos como predestinação e a origem de ideias como céu e inferno, sugerindo influência do Zoroastrismo, e propõe que o Espiritismo oferece uma abordagem mais consistente com o ensinamento moral de Jesus, focando na essência e não na letra da Bíblia. Finalmente, a obra critica a utilização da Bíblia como texto infalível, destacando sua natureza histórica e a diversidade de interpretações teológicas.

Abstract: The text analyzes divergences between the evangelical doctrine of salvation by faith and interpretations of the Synoptic Gospels and other biblical texts. It is argued that the emphasis on salvation by faith emerged later, in the Gospel of John and in the writings of Paul, contrasting with the apparent emphasis on actions and good works in the older Gospels and in the Epistle of James. The author questions the theological coherence of concepts such as predestination and the origin of ideas such as heaven and hell, suggesting influence from Zoroastrianism, and proposes that Spiritism offers a more consistent approach to the moral teachings of Jesus, focusing on the essence and not on the letter of the Bible. Finally, the work criticizes the use of the Bible as an infallible text, highlighting its historical nature and the diversity of theological interpretations.
