Resumo: O texto analisa a comunicação com os mortos na Bíblia, confrontando interpretações tradicionais com a perspectiva espírita. Diversos trechos bíblicos são examinados, buscando diferenciar necromancia e outras práticas de adivinhação da comunicação espírita. O estudo compara leis mosaicas e divinas, argumentando sobre a mutabilidade das primeiras e a imutabilidade das segundas. A obra se baseia em diferentes traduções bíblicas, destacando possíveis interpretações tendenciosas e analisando a consistência das traduções à luz dos textos originais. Finalmente, o autor refuta a ideia de uma condenação bíblica direta ao espiritismo.

Abstract: The text analyzes communication with the dead in the Bible, comparing traditional interpretations with the spiritist perspective. Several biblical passages are examined, seeking to differentiate necromancy and other divination practices from spiritist communication. The study compares Mosaic and divine laws, arguing about the mutability of the former and the immutability of the latter. The work is based on different biblical translations, highlighting possible biased interpretations and analyzing the consistency of the translations in light of the original texts. Finally, the author refutes the idea of a direct biblical condemnation of spiritism.
