Resumo: O texto apresenta um estudo sobre a relação entre Espiritismo e Ciência, explorando pesquisas históricas e contemporâneas que investigam fenômenos mediúnicos. São citados diversos cientistas renomados que estudaram ou se converteram ao Espiritismo, além de pesquisas que analisam os efeitos da espiritualidade e da fé na saúde física e mental. O documento também discute a crescente integração entre abordagens espirituais e práticas médicas, incluindo terapias de regressão e tratamentos espirituais. Finalmente, é apresentada a visão espírita sobre a cura e a doença, considerando os aspectos bio-psico-sócio-espirituais do ser humano.

Abstract: The text presents a study on the relationship between Spiritism and Science, exploring historical and contemporary research that investigates mediumistic phenomena. Several renowned scientists who have studied or converted to Spiritism are cited, in addition to research that analyzes the effects of spirituality and faith on physical and mental health. The document also discusses the growing integration between spiritual approaches and medical practices, including regression therapies and spiritual treatments. Finally, the Spiritist view on healing and illness is presented, considering the bio-psycho-social-spiritual aspects of the human being.
