Resumo: O texto refuta a associação de previsões apocalípticas com o Espiritismo, argumentando que tais profecias, frequentemente associadas a figuras como Ramatis, contradizem a doutrina espírita codificada por Allan Kardec. A análise demonstra a recorrência histórica de previsões falhas sobre o “fim do mundo”, mostrando como essas crenças se perpetuam apesar da falta de comprovação. O autor destaca a incompatibilidade dessas visões catastróficas com a crença espírita no progresso gradual da humanidade e na lei de causa e efeito. Abstract: The text refutes the association of apocalyptic predictions with Spiritism, arguing that such prophecies, often associated with figures such as Ramatis, contradict the Spiritist doctrine codified by Allan Kardec. The analysis demonstrates the historical recurrence of failed predictions about the “end of the world”, showing how these beliefs are perpetuated despite the lack of proof. The author highlights the incompatibility of these catastrophic visions with the Spiritist belief in the gradual progress of humanity and in the law of cause and effect. Finally, the text emphasizes the Spiritist message of individual moral regeneration as a path to progress, in opposition to apocalyptic visions.
