Resumo: O texto apresenta um debate sobre a interpretação de João 14:2-3 (“Na casa do meu Pai há muitas moradas”), contrastando a visão espírita, que identifica as “moradas” com planetas habitados em diferentes estágios evolutivos, com a interpretação apologética cristã, que as entende como um lugar celestial reservado aos salvos. A análise critica a abordagem da Bíblia Apologética por considerar superficial e incompleta sua interpretação do Espiritismo, apresentando trechos de O Livro dos Espíritos e O Evangelho Segundo o Espiritismo de Kardec para fundamentar a visão espírita de um universo com múltiplos mundos habitados e diferentes níveis de evolução espiritual. A conclusão reforça a interpretação espírita, argumentando que a visão apologética ignora a complexidade do tema e a amplitude do ensinamento de Jesus.

Abstract: The text presents a debate on the interpretation of John 14:2-3 (“In my Father’s house are many mansions”), contrasting the Spiritist view, which identifies the “mansions” with inhabited planets at different evolutionary stages, with the Christian apologetic interpretation, which understands them as a heavenly place reserved for the saved. The analysis criticizes the approach of the Apologetic Bible for considering its interpretation of Spiritism superficial and incomplete, presenting excerpts from The Spirits’ Book and The Gospel According to Spiritism by Kardec to support the Spiritist view of a universe with multiple inhabited worlds and different levels of spiritual evolution. The conclusion reinforces the Spiritist interpretation, arguing that the apologetic view ignores the complexity of the subject and the breadth of Jesus’ teachings.
