Resumo: O texto é uma refutação espírita de argumentos contrários à compatibilidade entre o Espiritismo e o Cristianismo, principalmente quanto à doutrina da Trindade. O autor argumenta que a Trindade é uma construção teológica posterior, questionando a interpretação bíblica da divindade de Jesus e do Espírito Santo. Ele contrapõe a visão espírita, que vê Jesus como um modelo moral e o Espiritismo como o Consolador prometido, com a interpretação tradicional cristã. Finalmente, o texto apresenta os princípios básicos do Espiritismo como uma alternativa racional e consoladora à teologia tradicional.

Abstract: The text is a Spiritist refutation of arguments against the compatibility between Spiritism and Christianity, especially regarding the doctrine of the Trinity. The author argues that the Trinity is a later theological construction, questioning the biblical interpretation of the divinity of Jesus and the Holy Spirit. He contrasts the Spiritist view, which sees Jesus as a moral model and Spiritism as the promised Comforter, with the traditional Christian interpretation. Finally, the text presents the basic principles of Spiritism as a rational and comforting alternative to traditional theology.
