Resumo: O texto analisa se um espírita pode ser considerado cristão, contestando a ideia de que a crença em Jesus como Deus seja o único critério para o cristianismo. Argumenta-se que o cristianismo verdadeiro reside na prática do amor, perdão e caridade, como ensinado por Jesus, e não em dogmas estabelecidos posteriormente. A interpretação espírita de passagens bíblicas, como João 1:14, é apresentada como contraponto à visão tradicional da divindade de Jesus. Conclui-se que a verdadeira identificação cristã está na obediência aos ensinamentos de Jesus, independentemente de afiliação religiosa.

Abstract: The text analyzes whether a Spiritist can be considered Christian, contesting the idea that belief in Jesus as God is the only criterion for Christianity. It is argued that true Christianity resides in the practice of love, forgiveness and charity, as taught by Jesus, and not in dogmas established later. The Spiritist interpretation of biblical passages, such as John 1:14, is presented as a counterpoint to the traditional view of the divinity of Jesus. It is concluded that true Christian identification lies in obedience to the teachings of Jesus, regardless of religious affiliation.
